the vision

The vision of Highway Christian Church is “Get them saved, build them for eternity”. The following dreams describe how we see this vision being outworked in the youth ministry.

I Have A Dream

I have a dream of a youth ministry of multiple thousands affecting multiple billions; of buildings packed from left to right, front to back unable to contain the growth; a youth so instrumental in local, state, and national communities that they carry influence in political and corporate decision-making. “We are the corporate target, we are the target market.”

I have a dream of a youth so in love with their God that they desperately seek His face: praying, fasting, giving and worshiping, so lost in praise to their Saviour that the influences & fears of this world are removed by the loving embrace of their Heavenly Father.

I have a dream of a youth ministry that operates in the supernatural; who are known for the outpouring of God’s Spirit evidenced by miracles of healing, prophecy, dreams and visions.

I have a dream of a youth so filled with compassion that they are moved to action: a youth that are the hands and feet of Jesus.[i]

I have a dream of a youth so captivated and consumed by the cause of Christ that they will do whatever it takes to see this nation saved.[ii]

I have a dream of a youth who minister through the creative – design, media, music and art; whose ministry glorifies the name of Jesus and connects the Saviour with the unsaved in a relevant manner.

I have a dream of a youth ministry that has an anointing for repentance that draws in the lost and sees thousands of young people saved.

I have a dream of a youth ministry that builds and trains leaders for the kingdom’s purpose, sending them out into the world to extend the borders of His church.

We are a youth not stifled by what others say we can or cannot do but dreaming in the realms of a God who spoke the universe into being. Our vision is not limited to the words on this paper but will be ever increasing according to what is revealed to us by the Great Almighty.

We will be the generation that sees this nation saved and established as the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit.

One man had a dream that changed a nation; let’s take this dream and change the world.
